History

1955
Mr. Paul Zumbrunn and Mr. Fritz Wüthrich did found the company Zumbrunn & Wüthrich based in Wittinsburg. Dealing in tractors and agricultural machinery along with maintenance.

1980
The company was renamed ZW Hydraulik AG. The ownership was transferred to a foundation. Manufacturing and distribution of hydraulic cylinders, aggregates and systems.

1983
Enlargement of premises and expansion of production at the original site. Improving of    production capability and the start of commissioned component manufacturing.

1988
Creation of our own development and design department. Expansion of our own hydraulic cylinder products programme.

1995
First certification under SN EN ISO 9001:1994

1996
Development and Launch of the first Ram-type extruder system with twin extrusion barrels.

1997
Partition of the business into three main branches: Cylinders, Component Manufacturing, Extruder Systems.

2001
Quality certificate according to SN EN ISO 9001:2000

2002
Developments of the gear pump type extruder.

2003
Strengthening of our representation abroad in Germany, France and USA.

2006
New definition of "Rubber Equipment" divison, incl. extruders, presses and laboratory equipment  for the rubber industry (start of the trade partnership with Jing Day Inc. (presses) and U-Can Dynatex Inc. (laboratory equipment))

2008
Development of our Single Barrel Extruder "EXTRUWELL"
